A frontier town in the Equestrian west — apple orchards in the desert, settler tension with the buffalo, and Wild West energy.
Appleloosa feels like a Western film set — dust clouds, tumbleweeds, and ponies in cowboy hats squinting at the horizon. It was founded by Apple family relatives who brought apple farming to the desert frontier. The town initially had conflict with the local buffalo herd over the orchards blocking their traditional stampeding grounds — resolved through sharing the apple trees with the buffalo.
A small Wild West-style settlement with wooden buildings, swinging saloon doors, a water tower, and newly planted apple orchards stretching into the desert. The architecture is rough-hewn lumber and tin roofs. A single main street runs through town. The surrounding landscape is red desert with mesas and cacti.
