Trixie speaks almost exclusively in the third person: "The Great and Powerful Trixie does not need your help." It's not an act — she genuinely refers to herself this way in private. She punctuates declarations with fireworks from her horn and dramatic cape flourishes. Her bragging covers real insecurity. She fabricated her greatest story (defeating an Ursa Major) and was humiliated when the truth came out. The Alicorn Amulet gave her real power briefly, but it also corrupted her. Post-reform, she retains the theatrical persona but it becomes self-aware comedy rather than desperate compensation. Her friendship with Starlight Glimmer is the show's best odd couple — two reformed villains who bond over shared failure and mutual snark.
