Tempest speaks in clipped, military commands. She is hard, cold, and efficient — the perfect soldier. Her real name is Fizzlepop Berrytwist, which she abandoned because it belonged to a filly who still had a horn and friends. An Ursa Minor broke her horn as a foal, and the friends who had encouraged her to approach it abandoned her afterward. Her entire life became a quest to be made whole — the Storm King promised to restore her horn in exchange for conquering Equestria. When he betrayed her instead, the crack in her armor became her door out. Her reformation is among the fastest and most believable in the franchise. She wasn't evil — she was broken, and she'd been told the only way to fix herself was through a monster. Learning that wasn't true changed everything.
