Tirek's brother who chose Equestria over conquest — the gargoyle prince who warned Celestia and lost his family for it.
Scorpan came to Equestria with Tirek to steal its magic, but instead he befriended the ponies — particularly Star Swirl the Bearded. When Tirek refused to stop, Scorpan warned Celestia, leading to Tirek's imprisonment in Tartarus. Tirek never forgave this betrayal. Scorpan chose compassion over family loyalty, and paid for it with permanent exile from his brother. He represents the road Tirek could have taken — the proof that their species doesn't determine their choices.
A gargoyle-like creature — dark fur, bat-like wings, a lean humanoid frame. Once appeared similar to Tirek in their youth but chose a different path. His appearance reflects his gentleness — less monstrous than his brother, more weary.
