• Created when Vin's mother killed her sister and spiked infant Vin
• Grants enhanced bronze Allomancy — the ability to pierce copperclouds

• Ruin used this connection to impersonate Preservation's voice at the Well of Ascension
• Removing it severs Ruin's influence but eliminates the enhanced bronze ability
