Massive, crudely forged swords wielded by koloss. Far too large for normal humans to use effectively, these brutal weapons embody the raw, unrefined violence of their wielders.
Koloss swords are weapons of brute force rather than craft. Koloss grow continuously throughout their lives, and their swords are sized for their massive frames — a young koloss's sword is merely huge, while an old koloss might wield something closer to a metal door. The swords reflect the koloss themselves: created through violence (Hemalurgy), functional but graceless, and devastatingly effective through overwhelming force. Human soldiers facing koloss in battle describe the terror of these massive blades sweeping through formations. In Era 2, koloss swords become collector's items and historical artifacts — reminders of the Final Empire's horrors.
Enormous blades of dark, crudely forged iron — often five to six feet long and disproportionately wide. No decoration, no guard, minimal handle. The metal is rough, sometimes pitted, the edge uneven but effective through sheer mass. Dried blood often stains the blade permanently into the metal's grain.
