Bullets made of aluminum that cannot be Pushed or Pulled by Allomancers. The Era 2 equivalent of glass daggers — anti-Allomancer ammunition that makes firearms lethal against metal-manipulators.
Aluminum rounds solve Era 2's fundamental combat problem: how do you shoot an Allomancer who can Push your bullets away? Aluminum is Allomantically inert — it cannot be detected, Pushed, or Pulled by any Allomancer. A Coinshot who confidently deflects standard rounds is suddenly vulnerable when aluminum bullets ignore their powers entirely. The rounds are expensive and relatively rare, making them a specialist tool rather than standard issue. Wax carries aluminum rounds in Vindication for encounters with Allomancers, switching between standard and aluminum ammunition depending on his target. Their existence has shifted Era 2 combat dynamics, partially neutralizing the Allomantic advantage that defined warfare for centuries.
Lighter than standard lead or steel rounds, with a distinctive silvery-white color. They load into standard revolver chambers. The aluminum has a slightly different sound when handled — lighter, with a higher-pitched clink against metal. Expensive to manufacture in quantity.
