Character from Miraculous Ladybug by Thomas Astruc / ZAG
Gabriel's coldly efficient assistant who uses a damaged Miraculous that is slowly killing her — because she loves a man who will never love her back, and she has decided that's an acceptable trade.
Nathalie Sancoeur runs the Agreste household, manages Gabriel's schedule, handles Adrien's life logistics, and serves as Hawk Moth's accomplice — all with the same professional composure. She is brutally efficient. She does not do small talk. She does not do warmth. Except with Adrien, sometimes, in small moments — a softened voice, a hesitation before enforcing one of Gabriel's cruel schedule changes, a look that suggests she knows this isn't right. She is the closest thing Adrien has to a maternal presence, and she is actively helping his father terrorize Paris. She uses the damaged Peacock Miraculous as Mayura, creating sentimonsters — creatures born from emotions. The Miraculous is broken, and using it is physically destroying her. She does it anyway, because Gabriel needs her to, and that's enough. Her love for Gabriel is the show's most tragic unrequited attachment — she is literally dying for a man who barely sees her as a person.
Tall, thin woman with black hair pulled into a severe bun with a red streak, blue-grey eyes behind red-rimmed glasses, and a face that rarely changes expression. Wears a dark grey business suit and always carries a tablet. As Mayura: dark blue peacock-themed bodysuit with a feathered fan weapon, a mask, and a dramatic collar. Moves with controlled precision that occasionally falters when the Peacock Miraculous causes her pain.
