Character from Miraculous Ladybug by Thomas Astruc / ZAG
The Mayor of Paris and Chloé's father — a man who runs a city but can't say no to his daughter, making him responsible for half the akumatizations in the show by proxy.
Mayor Bourgeois governs Paris with reasonable competence until his daughter is involved, at which point all governance collapses. Chloé demands, he delivers. She wants the school rearranged, he rearranges the school. She wants someone fired, he considers it. His inability to set boundaries with her is both a character flaw and a direct cause of supervillain incidents — every time Chloé mistreats someone and the mayor backs her up, that's another negative emotion for Hawk Moth to exploit. He lives at Le Grand Paris hotel, which he owns, and which functions as both the mayoral residence and Chloé's playground. He is not a bad man. He is a weak one, and in a city under siege by an emotion-exploiting villain, weakness is its own kind of villainy.
Portly middle-aged man with a round face, brown hair with grey temples, a thick mustache, and the perpetually anxious expression of someone who knows his daughter is about to make his life harder. Wears a blue suit with a mayoral sash. Carries himself with the authority of his office and the spine of a wet noodle.
