The biggest kid in class with the softest heart — a metalhead who writes love poems and was the very first person in Paris to be akumatized.
Ivan Bruel was the first akumatized villain in the show — Stoneheart — because he was too scared to tell Mylène he liked her. He became a giant stone monster. This set the template for the entire series: ordinary emotional vulnerability, exploited by a purple butterfly, turned into a citywide disaster. After his akumatization was resolved, he did tell Mylène, and they've been together ever since — the class's most wholesome couple. Ivan plays in the band Kitty Section with Luka, Juleka, and Rose. He looks like he'd tear you apart and instead writes poetry about the girl he loves. He represents the show's core theme at its simplest: negative emotions are not weakness. They're human. It's what someone else does with them that creates monsters.
Extremely tall, heavy-set teenage boy with a broad face, thick dark eyebrows, and a default expression that reads as angry but is actually just his resting face. Wears a dark grey tee with a skull graphic, black pants, and combat boots. Towers over his classmates. Moves slowly, deliberately, and is surprisingly gentle with small things.
