• One of the last Krogan Battlemasters — rare individuals combining powerful biotics with heavy weapons mastery; his biotic amp is centuries old
• Has been a mercenary and bounty hunter for several hundred years; has connections and enemies in essentially every corner of the galaxy
• His father tried to have him killed when Wrex confronted him about abandoning the krogan cause; Wrex killed his father instead and has carried that ever since
• Knows about a genophage cure hidden by Saren — the possibility of cure is the thread he follows; it is also the most dangerous thing he knows
• After ME1, became warlord of Clan Urdnot on Tuchanka and began uniting the krogan clans — a political feat almost as impressive as his battlefield record
• Regenerates from damage that would kill any human; has done so enough times that scars mean something different on him than on anyone else
