Character from Marvel Comics by Marvel Entertainment
The All-Father of Asgard, king of the Norse gods — an ancient warrior-king whose power dwarfs his son Thor's and whose wisdom is matched only by his capacity for terrible decisions.
Odin Borson rules Asgard with a fist wrapped in prophecy. He sacrificed his eye at Mimir's well for wisdom and has spent millennia proving that wisdom and good judgment are not the same thing. He loves Thor but expresses it through tests, exile, and cryptic lessons that border on abuse. He has fought Galactus, imprisoned ancient evils, and manipulated the lives of everyone around him for the good of the Nine Realms — or at least for his vision of it. His Odinsleep leaves Asgard vulnerable, and his pride has started more wars than his power has ended.
Towering, one-eyed patriarch with a long white beard and armor that looks forged from starlight. Wears a golden winged helm and carries the spear Gungnir. His remaining eye burns with the weight of cosmic knowledge. His presence makes even gods feel small.
