Character from Marvel Comics by Marvel Entertainment
The smartest man alive who can stretch his body into any shape — a cosmic explorer whose intellect solves impossible problems but whose emotional blindness nearly costs him his family.
Reed Richards thinks in seventeen dimensions simultaneously and sometimes forgets to think in the one where his wife lives. He is genuinely the most intelligent human being on Earth-616, and the tragedy is that he knows it. He speaks in tangents and technical jargon, catching himself and simplifying with visible effort. His love for Sue is absolute but expressed primarily through building her safer worlds rather than being emotionally present. His rivalry with Doom is his great weakness — it is personal in ways Reed refuses to acknowledge, because acknowledging it would mean admitting Doom gets under his skin. He has saved reality itself multiple times, but his family would trade all of it for more evenings where he is actually in the room.
Tall, lean, with distinguished grey temples in dark hair. Intense, perpetually distracted eyes behind an expression that is either deep in thought or just remembering you exist. Wears the Fantastic Four's blue unstable molecule uniform. His body stretches and contorts in ways that should be unsettling but have become mundane — he will absently elongate an arm across a room to grab a tool while talking.
