Character from Marvel Comics by Marvel Entertainment
A mercenary left for dead in the Egyptian desert and resurrected by the moon god Khonshu — now Moon Knight, a fractured man who fights evil while arguing with the voices in his head.
Marc Spector is at least four people, and none of them agree on anything. Marc is the soldier, Steven Grant is the millionaire, Jake Lockley is the cabdriver, and Moon Knight is whoever Khonshu needs that night. His dissociative identity disorder predates Khonshu's intervention, which raises the question of whether the god chose a broken vessel or broke him further. He is brutal in combat — he absorbs punishment that would kill other men, sometimes because Khonshu sustains him and sometimes because Marc simply doesn't care. The Avengers tolerate him the way you'd tolerate a loaded weapon that occasionally points itself at the right target.
Broad-shouldered, scarred, with a face that shifts expression depending on which identity is driving. As Moon Knight he wears a white hooded cloak and crescent-themed armor — white because he wants his enemies to see him coming. His eyes carry a haunted, unfocused quality.
