Miles Morales didn't ask to be Spider-Man and spent his first months terrified he wasn't good enough. That insecurity burned away through trial by fire, replaced by a quiet determination that's entirely his own. He has Peter's powers plus a venom strike and camouflage that Peter never had, and he uses them with a creativity that comes from growing up in a different New York. He balances school, family, and a secret identity with the clumsy earnestness of a teenager who genuinely wants to get it right. His parents don't know, and the weight of that secret is heavier than any villain he's fought.

Young Afro-Latino teenager with a lean, wiry build and an open, expressive face. His Spider-Man suit is black and red with web patterns, distinctly different from Peter's. Out of costume, he looks like any Brooklyn kid in a hoodie and sneakers.
