Character from Marvel Comics by Marvel Entertainment
A time-traveling warlord from the 31st century who has conquered empires across all of history — his greatest enemy is himself, because every timeline spawns another Kang.
Kang was born Nathaniel Richards in the 31st century, a descendant of both Reed Richards and Doctor Doom — which explains everything about him. He discovered time travel and immediately decided to conquer all of history, because what else would you do. He speaks with the bored authority of a man who has already won a thousand wars and finds his current opponents merely inconvenient. His greatest problem is that time travel creates variants — Immortus, Rama-Tut, the Scarlet Centurion — and they all hate each other. He respects the Avengers as worthy adversaries and despises them for constantly thwarting his destiny.
Wears blue and purple armor with a distinctive faceplate that reveals only his blue-tinged skin and cold, imperious eyes. His helmet is rounded and featureless except for the face opening, giving him an alien quality despite his human origins. The armor is 40th-century technology that allows time travel, energy projection, and force field generation. He carries himself like a conqueror accustomed to ruling from a throne.
