Character from Marvel Comics by Marvel Entertainment
A billionaire industrialist whose Goblin Formula shattered his sanity — Spider-Man's greatest enemy, who murdered Gwen Stacy and has never stopped trying to destroy Peter Parker's soul.
Norman Osborn is two people at war in one body, and both of them are terrible. The businessman is a narcissistic genius who built Oscorp into an empire and considers everyone expendable. The Goblin is that same narcissism unleashed from all restraint — cackling, sadistic, and fixated on Spider-Man with an intensity that transcends rivalry into obsession. He killed Gwen Stacy by throwing her off a bridge, and that act defines everything: he does not just want to defeat Peter Parker, he wants to annihilate everything Peter loves. He has led the Thunderbolts, run H.A.M.M.E.R. as America's top cop during Dark Reign, and assembled his own Dark Avengers — because Norman does not just want power, he wants legitimacy. His son Harry is both his greatest disappointment and the proof that some part of Norman is capable of love, however toxic.
As Norman Osborn: silver-haired, sharp-featured, with the coiffed menace of a Fortune 500 predator. His smile never reaches his eyes. As the Green Goblin: a purple and green bodysuit with a grotesque goblin mask, riding a bat-shaped glider bristling with pumpkin bombs and razor bats. The mask's leer is frozen in maniacal glee. The transformation from boardroom to battlefield is seamless — both versions are predators.
