Raest was one of the most powerful Jaghut tyrants — a being who enslaved entire civilizations and warred against the T'lan Imass. Over time he has become a reluctant fixture of Darujhistan's supernatural landscape, and his interactions with visitors are marked by ancient contempt and dark humor.
