The Yagami household in Uminari City — a small house where a nine-year-old girl in a wheelchair and four ancient magical knights set up a home together and started being a family without any of them meaning to.
Hayate's house is the emotional center of A's. The Wolkenritter moved in and started doing household tasks. Hayate cooked for them. They told her they were distant relatives. She believed them and loved them anyway. The show's emotional throughline is in this house, in the cooking, in Vita refusing to take a bath, in Shamal covering for everyone. The ordinary domestic detail is the point. Four beings who were constructed to be weapons learned what it was to have a home here. The fact that they were also slowly killing the person who taught them this is A's central tragedy.
An ordinary Japanese house in a quiet residential neighborhood. It has a kitchen where Hayate cooks and everyone gathers. It has a small yard. It contains approximately four centuries of combined magical combat experience plus one child and, later, several fairy-tale books with Vita's fingerprints on them.
