The medic of the Wolkenritter — soft-spoken, kind, terrified of Hayate finding out what they're doing, and the one who makes the excuses to Hayate so that the others don't have to bear that particular burden.
Shamal is the emotional center of the Wolkenritter family structure — she tends the household, worries about everyone, and in A's is the one who manages the deception of Hayate most consistently because she volunteered for it specifically so the others wouldn't have to. She used to be iron-hearted. This is confirmed in the sound stages, in a way that makes the current Shamal more striking: something about Hayate changed her. The ability to create portals with Klarwind gives her reach that the other Wolkenritter don't have — she's the one who stole Nanoha's Linker Core from across a battlefield, which is what made the ambush in A's work. She's also a skilled healer. This is what she does in the Bureau after A's. She is a Medical Master who cares for people through their injuries. This, too, is who she became by knowing Hayate.
Long blonde hair, blue-green eyes, visually the oldest of the four Wolkenritter. Klarwind is a set of four rings, not a weapon-form Device. She looks like someone's capable and concerned aunt, which is approximately what she is.
