Ithos is the stage on which the Mage Errant series plays out. Once unified under the Ithonian Empire, the continent fractured after the Empire's fall — an event Kanderon Crux helped engineer — and has been divided ever since. The Havath Dominion claims the Empire's legacy and pushes to reunify Ithos under its banner. Skyhold and its Great Power alliance push back. Between these poles lie dozens of independent city-states, kingdoms, and territories that must navigate the political gravity of Great Powers pulling in opposite directions. The continent's Labyrinths, scattered like geological wounds, provide both the mana that fuels civilization and the monsters that threaten it.
A vast continent of geographic diversity — mountain ranges, fertile plains, coastal cities, and the enormous Endless Erg desert dividing east from west. The remnants of Ithonian Imperial architecture — massive stone roads, ruined fortifications, and shattered monuments — litter the landscape like the skeleton of a giant.
