A traveling European all-animal circus that was once the greatest show in the world, declined into irrelevance, and was rebuilt by zoo animals who had never performed in a ring in their lives.
Circus Zaragoza has three phases: when it was great (Vitaly's impossible hoop act, sold-out shows across Europe), when it was not (after the fire, after Vitaly withdrew, after the act became terrible), and when it became something different — not the same circus, but maybe a better one. The Zoosters crashed into the second phase and left it in the third. Alex gave a speech. Vitaly tried olive oil again. Kowalski rewired everything. The animals who had been performing badly for years discovered they could be extraordinary. The circus is now owned by Mason and Phil, who purchased it with the penguins' casino winnings while dressed as the King of Versailles. It is also known as Afro Circus and Fur Power Circus, depending on the promotional material.
A traveling circus with a train at its center — painted cars, a big top, performance rings, and the accumulated props and rigging of decades on the road. In its rebuilt form, the big top runs with LED lighting and Kowalski-engineered electrorings that produce genuinely spectacular effects. The audience is never quite prepared for what they see.
