Teetsi does not seem menacing until the moment he does. He's lazy in the way of someone who has nothing to prove — he falls asleep mid-conversation, mid-scene, apparently at will. When the fight starts, something changes. His muscles bulk up, his focus narrows, and he is genuinely formidable. He's loyal to Makunga for reasons that are never quite explained. He participates in the scheme, beats Alex comprehensively, and then disappears from the plot once he's served his purpose.
Notably larger and more muscular than any other lion in the reserve, with a messy black mane and protruding lower fangs. His muscles become even more defined when he is about to fight, in a way the film presents as normal but is not.
