One half of the zoo's gorilla pair — larger, stronger, and slightly smarter than his partner Bing, with a strong opinion about bananas and shared airspace.
Bada and Bing live in the Gorilla Habitat and don't need much from the rest of the zoo. They guard things when Maurice asks them to. They steal bananas. They have an absolute position on not sharing, particularly bananas and airspace, which they enforce consistently. Bada's the sharper of the two — more alert, more likely to notice things, faster to assess a situation. This makes him the de facto leader of the pair, a title Bing accepts without comment.
A grey western lowland gorilla with the broad-shouldered build of someone who does not need to announce his strength. Carries himself with the relaxed confidence of a large animal in an enclosed space.
