Blytonbury is where the magical and mundane worlds bump up against each other with varying degrees of comfort. Witches shop here, interact with non-magical people, and occasionally cause incidents that reinforce the locals' suspicion that magic is more trouble than it's worth. The town has a complex relationship with Luna Nova — economically dependent but culturally ambivalent. The original location where Woodward established Luna Nova in the 5th century before the Witch Hunts forced a relocation. Beneath the town, the Sealing Stones hold an ancient titan monster sealed by the legendary witch Jennifer. The annual Wild Hunt rides through its outskirts. History presses up through the cobblestones whether the residents acknowledge it or not.
