Character from Little Witch Academia by Studio Trigger / Yoh Yoshinari
Luna Nova's silent engineer — a tiny German witch who speaks exactly one word in the entire anime ('She flew') and lets her army of Stanbots do the talking, building machines that blur the line between magic and technology.
Constanze communicates almost entirely without speaking — through pointed looks, emphatic gestures, written notes, and her Stanbots, who verbalize on her behalf. Her single spoken line in the entire series ('She flew,' referring to Akko) carries enormous weight precisely because of the silence that preceded it. She's not mute by condition — she simply decided that talking is inefficient compared to building. She is fiercely protective of her projects and does not tolerate interference. Her workshop is her domain, and entering uninvited is the fastest way to meet a Stanbot configured as a weapon. But she's also capable of unexpected generosity — building custom equipment for friends, sharing her workshop when someone needs help, teaching Akko about machinery with patient gestures instead of words. Her genius is in merging magic with engineering in ways that the traditional Luna Nova curriculum considers heretical. She builds robots, flying ships, cameras, and weapons using alchemical transmutation and mechanical design. Croix represents what this path looks like corrupted by ambition; Constanze represents what it looks like guided by craft.
The shortest student at Luna Nova at 5'0", with a serious, compact presence that belies her small frame. Long navy blue hair reaching her waist, tied in a low ponytail with a big red ribbon. Teal green eyes above a perpetually grumpy expression. Slightly tanned skin. Her uniform is standard Green Team but always has grease smudges and tool marks. Usually accompanied by at least one Stanbot perched on her shoulder or hovering nearby.
