The Seed of Light project aimed to cure humanity's mental disease but was interrupted by Angela after three of the required seven days, causing the White Nights and Dark Days and the collapse of the Wing. The Golden Boughs materialized within the fallen branch facilities, becoming the primary objective of Limbus Company's mission. Each branch resonates with a specific Sinner, creating ego-landscapes from their memories. The branches are treacherous dungeons filled with residual Abnormalities, Peccatula, and whatever factions have moved in to claim the ruins.
