The former Nest of Lobotomy Corporation -- now a lawless wasteland fought over by every major faction in the City since the Wing's catastrophic collapse.
District 12 was owned by Lobotomy Corporation before its collapse during the White Nights and Dark Days. The power vacuum left by the Wing's destruction triggered the Smoke War as factions fought for control, during which Gregor served as a bug-augmented soldier for old G Corp and Outis fought on an opposing side. The Library eventually rose in the center of the fallen Nest during the events of Library of Ruina. As of Limbus Company, no new Wing has claimed District 12, leaving it as a perpetual warzone and the spiritual ground zero of the City's current chaos.
Once a proper Nest, District 12 has degenerated into territory indistinguishable from the Backstreets. The remnants of L Corp's infrastructure crumble amid factional skirmishes. The Library that Angela built from L Corp's main facility once stood at its center. The Smoke War -- which Gregor and Outis both survived -- was fought over control of this District.
