Item from Limbus Company by Project Moon
Yi Sang's greatest invention -- a device that reflects alternate worlds and timelines, refined into the Identity system that lets Sinners pull combat abilities from their parallel selves.
Yi Sang invented the Glass Mirror while working with the League of Nine Litterateurs, modeled after a concept called the Glass Window by fellow member Young-ji. The Mirror could reflect alternate worlds and timelines of the viewer, and Yi Sang even befriended his own alternate self, Sang Yi, through it. After T Corp raided the League and Hermann tried to weaponize the technology to destroy all reflected possibilities, Yi Sang defected and was recruited by Faust. At Limbus Company, he refined the Mirror into the Identity system -- allowing Sinners to access alternate versions of themselves from parallel worlds, pulling their weapons, skills, and combat abilities into the current reality. This is the primary mechanism through which the Sinners use Abnormality E.G.O. in battle.
The original Glass Mirror was a research device capable of reflecting alternate worlds and timelines. Its refined form within Limbus Company manifests as the Identity system -- allowing Sinners to access alternate versions of themselves from Mirror Worlds, adopting their combat styles, weapons, and abilities. The visual effect during activation varies by Identity.
