Each Bough aligns with a specific Sinner connected to the branch's location, resonating with them to create an ego-landscape -- a full interactive environment drawn from their memories and psyche. Gregor's Bough created a twisted Smoke War battlefield. Rodion's formed a massive icy castle. Yi Sang's became a play staged in the League of Nine's workshop. When Kromer seized a Bough before Sinclair, it created endless hills of stacked corpses. The Boughs can transform those who fully resonate with them -- Kromer became a flesh abomination. Collecting them is Limbus Company's primary mission, though the true purpose of gathering them all remains unclear.
