Unlike Abnormalities, Distortions can be killed. Those who fail to fully distort become Peccatula instead -- lesser entities that lack uniqueness. The LCD department of Limbus Company specializes in handling Distortions, with Moses and Ezra as its primary operatives. The Distortion Phenomenon is becoming a niche business venture as awareness grows. The relationship between Distortion and E.G.O. manifestation is razor-thin -- the same psychological pressure that creates a Distortion could instead bloom into E.G.O. if the individual maintains clarity.
