Character from Limbus Company by Project Moon
Leader of the Yurodiviye and Rodion's mirror from Crime and Punishment -- the one who both enabled and judged her sin.
Sonya leads the Yurodiviye, a faction devoted to overturning injustices in the District 25 Backstreets. His relationship with Rodion is the central wound of Canto II: The Unloving. When the cave collapsed at the end of that Canto, Rodion refused to offer Sonya any parting words and grew uncomfortable when the Sinners cared about his fate more than hers. He appears to have an interest in those who manifest the Sign, similar to Demian. Named after Sonya Marmeladova from Dostoevsky's 'Crime and Punishment' -- the compassionate woman who leads Raskolnikov to confess his murder. In the novel, Sonya is the moral conscience; in the game, the Golden Bough resonance created a confessional for Rodion, and Sonya served exactly that function.
Details of Sonya's precise appearance are sparse, but he carries the bearing of a Yurodiviye leader -- someone who operates in the harsh Backstreets of District 25 with the moral authority of a holy fool. His presence alone is enough to make Rodion's composure crack.
