Meursault speaks bluntly and concisely, never mincing words. He does only what he is told, nothing more and nothing less. He is emotionally distant, failing to see the importance in others' emotions -- once neglecting to mention that Sinclair was having an anxiety attack because no one asked. Previously affiliated with N Corp, he contemplated their ideals but never reached a conclusion about his feelings toward them. He occasionally intersperses his speech with French. He is a proficient cook. Despite his apparent emptiness, Canto VI saw him show initiative for the first time -- using his E.G.O. to protect Heathcliff without being ordered to. Named after the protagonist of Camus' 'The Stranger,' who killed a man because the sun was in his eyes -- Meursault's emotional flatline is both his defining trait and his deepest question.
A well-built man of considerable height -- the tallest among all Sinners -- with slicked-back black hair, small green eyes, a sharp face, and wide eyebrows. He wears the Limbus Company vest without the standard overcoat, his ID hanging from the right breast. He wields two elbow-length gauntlets with the word 'SOLEIL' emblazoned on the right one. A single large golden belt buckle replaces the standard multi-frame belt.
