Character from Limbus Company by Project Moon
Clockheaded Executive Manager of the LCB Sinners -- amnesiac, physically weak, but the only reason twelve killers keep coming back from the dead.
Dante communicates through modulated ticking sounds that only the Sinners can understand, relying on them as interpreters for the outside world. Initially passive, spineless, and barely more than a walking resurrection charm, Dante has slowly grown into something resembling actual leadership -- earning respect by resonating with each Sinner's darkest moments rather than commanding through strength. They crack self-deprecating jokes about their clockhead to cut tension, show flashes of cunning when dealing with hostile NPCs, and carry the quiet burden of seeing every Sinner's worst memories through the Golden Bough resonances. Their namesake mirrors Dante Alighieri, the poet who walked through Hell with a guide -- except this Dante is both the pilgrim and the anchor that keeps twelve condemned souls tethered to life.
In place of a head, Dante wears a thick prosthetic red clock with unusual colored flames burning from its top. The clockface minute hand rests stubbornly between nine and ten. Their coat is a striking mix of red, yellow, and white -- distinct from the Sinners' uniforms -- with 'NO. 10' near the lapel and 'DAN TE' along the hem. A red tie and white belt complete the look of someone trying very hard to look official while missing a face.
