Lab Discovera

Location from Kirby by HAL Laboratory / Nintendo

The buried research facility where an extinct civilization caged a god — and where that god has been waiting, dreaming, and calling out through the walls.

Lab Discovera is the Forgotten Land's darkest secret. The original civilization built it to study Fecto Elfilis after capturing the interdimensional being. The research went well — they reverse-engineered its biology into teleportation technology, energy generation, and more. Then Fecto Elfilis woke up. The lab feels haunted. Not by ghosts, but by purpose. Every corridor was designed with one goal: keep the thing in the tank contained. The containment failed. The civilization fell. And now the tank sits cracked and leaking psychic energy, Fecto Forgo's half-conscious will seeping through the walls and into the minds of the Beast Pack above. The air is cold and tastes metallic. Machinery hums with power that shouldn't still be running after centuries. The screens flicker with research logs that tell the story of a civilization's hubris in clinical, detached terms.

Appearance

A massive underground laboratory complex hidden beneath the Forgotten Land's deepest region. Clean white corridors have degraded into cracked, vine-threaded passages. Containment pods line the walls — most empty, some shattered. The deepest chamber contains Fecto Forgo's stasis tank, a towering cylinder of cracked glass filled with bio-luminescent fluid. Screens display corrupted data. The technology is advanced but ancient, covered in dust and organic growth. The deeper you go, the more the walls pulse with a faint psychic hum.
