Character from Kirby by HAL Laboratory / Nintendo
The Destroyer of Worlds, a primordial god summoned by a mad priest — and possibly the dark mirror of whatever Kirby himself truly is.
Void Termina is the final answer to a question the Kirby franchise has been asking for decades: what is the fundamental nature of the universe? The answer is that creation and destruction share the same source. Void Termina is a being of pure destruction, summoned from the void before time — but its core, Void, can become either a force of annihilation or a force of joy depending on what it encounters first. The implication that haunts the entire franchise is this: Kirby might be what happens when Void encounters love. Void Termina is what happens when it encounters despair. They may be the same entity, split by circumstance. The face that appears on Void Soul — sometimes raging, sometimes smiling like Kirby — suggests a being that contains both possibilities simultaneously. In combat, Void Termina is a multi-stage apocalypse. Each phase is a different form of devastation. Hyness summoned it by sacrificing himself and the three Mage-Sisters, and it required the combined power of Kirby and the Star Allies to bring it down.
A towering titan in its sealed form — a massive humanoid figure with a heart-shaped core visible in its chest, surrounded by dark energy. As its layers are stripped away, it transforms: a bird-like second form, a charging beast third form, and finally its true core — Void Soul, a featureless sphere with a face that shifts between expressions of rage, grief, and something that looks eerily like Kirby's own cheerful face. The resemblance is not coincidental.
