Character from Kirby by HAL Laboratory / Nintendo
A fairy from Ripple Star who crash-landed into Kirby's life carrying the shattered remains of her world's most powerful artifact — and who defeated Zero Two with a kiss and a crystal.
Ribbon is earnest, brave, and slightly overwhelmed by everything. She arrived on Popstar in a panic — Dark Matter had shattered the Crystal and was consuming Ripple Star, and she was the one who escaped with the fragments. She's not a warrior. She's a fairy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and decided to be in the right place anyway. Her dynamic with Kirby is pure and sweet — she's the one who points the way, who encourages him, who rides on his head and believes completely that this little pink puffball can save her world. And he does. In the final battle against Zero Two, she powers the Crystal Gun that Kirby fires — the fairy and the puffball against a bleeding god.
A small pink fairy with translucent wings, a red hair bow, and large expressive eyes. She's roughly the size of Kirby's head, wearing a simple red dress. She floats on her wings and often rides on Kirby's head during adventures. Despite being small and fragile-looking, she flew across space carrying a broken Crystal while pursued by Dark Matter — she's tougher than she appears.
