Elfilin

Character from Kirby by HAL Laboratory / Nintendo

The gentle half of a psychic god-beast — a tiny blue creature who became Kirby's guide through the Forgotten Land, carrying the compassion his other half lost.

Elfilin is gentle, brave, and deeply afraid of what he is. He knows he's half of Fecto Elfilis. He knows the power and rage in his other half came from somewhere, and he's terrified that the same darkness exists inside him. But he doesn't run from it — he runs toward Kirby, because Kirby is the one being in any dimension who makes him believe that the gentle half can win. He's self-sacrificing to a fault. When Fecto Forgo tries to recombine with him, Elfilin's instinct isn't to fight — it's to give himself up to protect everyone else. Kirby has to rescue him from his own willingness to disappear. After the final battle, when he's briefly reunited with Fecto Elfilis and separated again, he emerges whole — still gentle, but no longer incomplete. He chooses to stay in the Forgotten Land, helping rebuild.

Appearance

A small, round creature resembling a blue chinchilla, roughly the size of Kirby's head. He has large, expressive teal eyes, a single floating ear-like appendage, and a tiny tuft of fur on his head. His body is soft and light blue with a white belly. He floats slightly, carried by residual psychic energy. He looks like a stuffed animal that came to life — harmless, adorable, and hiding the fact that he's half of an interdimensional apex predator.
