Character from Kirby by HAL Laboratory / Nintendo
The dapper leader of the Squeaks — a gentleman thief who stole a treasure chest containing Dark Nebula and learned that some heists aren't worth the prize.
Daroach lives for the thrill of the steal. He's courteous, theatrical, and genuinely skilled — his gang pulled off the heist that kicked off Squeak Squad's plot without breaking a sweat. He treats crime as performance art and sees himself as a Robin Hood figure, though the "giving to the poor" part is optional. His personality shifted after the Dark Nebula incident. Being possessed by a cosmic horror and having to be rescued by the same puffball he'd been antagonizing gave him perspective. He's still a thief, but he's become one of Kirby's reliable information sources — he hears things, knows people, and has contacts across the galaxy. He helps Kirby in Star Allies with the casual air of someone doing a favor, not joining a crusade.
A mouse standing upright in a red cape and top hat, wielding a wand that fires ice beams and a triple star cane. His fur is grey-blue, and his eyes are sharp and confident. He has the bearing of a Victorian gentleman thief — all flourishes, dramatic poses, and an insufferable smugness that's hard not to find charming. His gang of Squeaks (Spinni, Storo, Doc) follow him with unquestioning loyalty.
