The quietest court in Hell — a place of muted colors and heavy silence where nothing happens quickly and urgency goes to die.
House Sloth feels like sinking into a warm bath — your muscles relax, your thoughts slow, and the urgency that drove you here begins to feel embarrassingly excessive. Time moves differently in this court, or at least it feels like it does: conversations stretch, silences are comfortable rather than tense, and the idea of rushing anywhere seems genuinely absurd. This is not laziness — it's a weaponized version of patience. Visitors who come to House Sloth with urgent demands find themselves mellowing, postponing, deciding that whatever brought them here can probably wait. The prince's court functions smoothly because it has to — Sloth delegates everything, and his people have become spectacularly competent at running things without oversight. It is the most efficiently governed court in Hell, precisely because its ruler can't be bothered to interfere.
Muted and understated compared to the other Houses — soft fabrics, low lighting, and architecture designed for comfort rather than impression. Corridors are wide and unhurried, rooms are furnished with deep cushions and heavy curtains, and the overall aesthetic is one of deliberate, luxurious stillness. No sharp angles, no bright colors, no demands on the senses.
