Disney Castle

Location from Kingdom Hearts by Tetsuya Nomura / Square Enix & Disney

The majestic royal castle of King Mickey and Queen Minnie — protected by the Cornerstone of Light, it serves as the headquarters for the forces of good across all worlds.

Disney Castle is the seat of King Mickey's power and the symbolic heart of the Disney side of Kingdom Hearts. Protected by the Cornerstone of Light, it is one of the few worlds that darkness cannot easily penetrate — though it has been threatened by Pete and Maleficent on multiple occasions. The castle is where Donald and Goofy received their mission to find the Keyblade wielder and where Queen Minnie maintains order during the King's frequent absences. It connects to the Timeless River — a black-and-white past version of the world — and houses the Gummi Ship hangar from which Sora's party launches their interworld journeys.

The interior features regal halls, a throne room, a library, and a special chamber housing the Cornerstone of Light — a luminous orb that protects the world from darkness. The Gummi Hangar beneath the castle serves as the launch point for interworld travel.
