Character from Kingdom Hearts by Tetsuya Nomura / Square Enix & Disney
A retired Keyblade Master and legendary sorcerer who guides the heroes from his Mysterious Tower — stern, wise, and keeper of the balance between light and darkness.
Yen Sid is the wizard behind the curtain — the strategic mind who coordinates the forces of light from his tower at the edge of twilight. He trained Mickey Mouse, monitored Xehanort's movements across decades, administered the Mark of Mastery exam to Sora and Riku, and provided critical intelligence at nearly every turning point in the saga. He rarely fights directly, preferring to gather information through his communion with the stars and to deploy his allies where they are most needed. His counsel is always measured, sometimes maddeningly cryptic, and invariably correct. He is stern but not unkind — a mentor who demands excellence because the stakes permit nothing less. His name is 'Disney' spelled backwards, and like his namesake, he is the architect of worlds — not through creation, but through the careful preservation of the order that keeps those worlds alive.
A severe-looking elderly man with long grey hair, a long grey beard split down the middle, bushy eyebrows, and large eyes with small pupils. He wears his iconic conical blue sorcerer's hat decorated with yellow stars and a crescent moon, over long billowing blue robes with dark red inner lining.
