Character from Kingdom Hearts by Tetsuya Nomura / Square Enix & Disney
The youngest of three Keyblade apprentices whose heart was split in two by Master Xehanort — his dark half became Vanitas, and his damaged heart found shelter inside Sora.
Ventus — Ven — is the youngest soul in a very old war. Cheerful, curious, and desperately eager to prove himself, he masks a deep well of pain behind bright smiles and boundless energy. Master Xehanort extracted the darkness from his heart, nearly killing him, and the light that remained became a boy who could not bear to see his friends in pain. His resemblance to Roxas is not coincidence — when Sora's heart connected to Ventus's damaged heart in childhood, it shaped Roxas's appearance when Roxas was later born as Sora's Nobody. Ventus is the hidden thread connecting Sora's story to the ancient Keyblade War. He fights with incredible speed, using backhanded strikes and wind-based magic. His Fever Pitch Command Style is a blinding flurry of attacks. In personality, he is sweet and slightly naive but capable of startling resolve — when Vanitas offered to merge and forge the chi-blade, Ventus chose to destroy them both rather than let a weapon of destruction be completed. His heart slept inside Sora for over a decade before finally being restored.
A youthful boy with amber-blond spiky hair swept to one side, bright blue eyes, and a slim build. He looks strikingly similar to Roxas. He wears a distinctive half-white, half-black jacket with a red pleated collar, grey and black capri-style pants, and a checkered wristband. He wields the Wayward Wind Keyblade in a reverse grip.
