Character from Kingdom Hearts by Tetsuya Nomura / Square Enix & Disney
The self-proclaimed Mistress of All Evil — a fairy sorceress who commands the Heartless and manipulates Disney villains in her quest to conquer all worlds.
Maleficent is the recurring thorn in the side of every hero in Kingdom Hearts — a villain who refuses to stay defeated, who adapts her schemes to each new crisis, and who views every setback as merely a temporary inconvenience. She was Master Xehanort's unwitting pawn in the original game, manipulated into gathering the Princesses of Heart, but she has since carved out her own ambitions independent of the Seekers of Darkness. She speaks with regal condescension, every sentence dripping with theatrical menace. She is intelligent, patient, and genuinely dangerous — her mastery of dark magic and her ability to command Heartless make her a persistent threat. She has even aided Sora on rare occasions, though always for her own reasons. Her relationship with Pete — her bumbling but loyal subordinate — provides unexpected comedy. She tolerates his incompetence with barely concealed fury, yet continues to rely on him, perhaps because even a villain as proud as Maleficent needs at least one being who is unconditionally loyal.
A tall, imposing fairy with green-tinged skin, sharp features, and glowing yellow eyes beneath heavy violet eye shadow. She wears a flowing black robe with purple trim and a distinctive black horned headdress. She carries a staff topped with a glowing green orb. In her ultimate form, she transforms into a massive black dragon wreathed in green flame.
