Luxord approaches everything in life — and death — as a game. He speaks with a British accent and an advanced vocabulary, treating battles as parlor games and losses as merely unfavorable odds. He is the most civil member of the Organization, rarely engaging in the petty cruelties that define his colleagues. His power over time makes him uniquely tricky to fight. He doesn't deplete your health — he depletes your time. His boss battle replaces HP bars with countdown timers, forcing Sora to play by Luxord's rules or lose everything. His cards can transform opponents into dice or cards, removing them from combat entirely. Despite his role as an antagonist, Luxord showed respect for Sora in his final moments, even giving Sora a mysterious wild card 'just in case' — a gesture of sportsmanship from a man who never stopped playing the game, even as the game ended.
