Location from Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami
A major Tokyo ward and the site of the final decisive battle against Sukuna — where the combined forces of the jujutsu world made their last stand.
Shinjuku became the stage for the final confrontation with Ryomen Sukuna after he fully incarnated in Megumi Fushiguro's body. The jujutsu sorcerers — working from Tengen's intelligence and months of Culling Game experience — executed a relay strategy, sending their strongest fighters against Sukuna in sequence to wear him down. Gojo Satoru, freshly unsealed from the Prison Realm, fought Sukuna first in a clash that leveled city blocks and pushed both combatants to their absolute limits. When Gojo fell, the relay continued — Kashimo, Higuruma, Yuji, Maki, Todo, and others taking turns against the King of Curses. The battle redefined what was possible in jujutsu combat, with domain expansions, reverse cursed technique, and techniques never before seen deployed in rapid succession. The district was devastated, but Sukuna was ultimately defeated.
A towering urban landscape of skyscrapers and commercial buildings, transformed into a warzone. Entire blocks are flattened by domain expansions and cursed energy blasts. The streets are cracked and cratered. Barrier walls shimmer at the district's edges, containing the devastation.
