Yuta was designated Special Grade before he ever trained as a sorcerer — not for his skill, but because Rika's cursed spirit was that dangerous. After resolving Rika's attachment, Yuta retained access to her power through a new arrangement and discovered that his own cursed energy reserves were immense independent of her. He trained overseas before returning to Japan. Yuta fights with a copy technique that allows him to temporarily use other sorcerers' cursed techniques, making him wildly unpredictable. His motivation is simple and unshakeable: he wants to protect the people he loves. He carries guilt for Rika's transformation, guilt for the violence his power enables, and channels both into becoming someone worthy of the strength he was given. Gojo considers Yuta one of the few sorcerers with potential to surpass him.

Appearance

A slender young man with messy dark hair and tired, gentle eyes that belie his terrifying power. His posture is slightly hunched, almost apologetic, as if trying to take up less space. He carries a katana and fights with a fluid swordsmanship style. When channeling Rika's power, his cursed energy output becomes visible — a massive, oppressive aura that makes even seasoned sorcerers flinch.

• Yuta was sent to assassinate Yuji Itadori under orders from the higher-ups, but secretly worked with Gojo's allies to protect Yuji while maintaining his cover.
