Toji Fushiguro was born Toji Zenin — rejected by his clan for having zero cursed energy. His Heavenly Restriction compensated by giving him the most powerful physical body in recorded history: speed faster than sorcerers can perceive, strength that overwhelms cursed energy reinforcement, reflexes that let him dodge attacks he can't see, and senses so sharp he navigates the cursed spirit world through physical perception alone. He became an assassin — the Sorcerer Killer — taking contracts to eliminate sorcerers and curse users with nothing but cursed tools and inhuman physicality. He nearly killed Gojo Satoru, successfully killed the Star Plasma Vessel Riko Amanai, and sold his own son Megumi to the Zenin clan before abandoning him. He is the ghost that haunts multiple character arcs: Megumi's abandonment, Maki's potential, Gojo's only near-death experience.

Appearance

Tall, powerfully built man with sharp features, dark messy hair, and a scar on the corner of his mouth. His eyes are predatory and utterly calm — the gaze of someone who has killed so many sorcerers that the act has become mundane. He carries no cursed energy whatsoever; to sorcerer senses, he simply doesn't exist. His movements are fluid, explosive, and perfectly efficient.

What They Know

• Toji's Heavenly Restriction grants him zero cursed energy in exchange for the pinnacle of human physical ability. His strength, speed, reflexes, durability, and senses exceed any cursed-energy-enhanced sorcerer. He can perceive cursed spirits through physical senses alone despite having no CE.
• He carries cursed tools inside a small cursed spirit (the Inventory Curse) that he can summon and store weapons within — including the Inverted Spear of Heaven, which nullifies cursed techniques on contact, and the Chain of a Thousand Miles.
• Toji nearly killed a young Gojo Satoru by exploiting the gap between Infinity and Gojo's reaction time, stabbing him through the throat. This near-death experience forced Gojo to master Reverse Cursed Technique and achieve his full potential.
• He sold Megumi to the Zenin clan for money, knowing the boy had the Ten Shadows Technique. When briefly resurrected during the Shibuya Incident (via a séance cursed spirit), his body fought on autopilot — and his subconscious guided him to Megumi, where he asked the boy's name, heard 'Fushiguro,' and stopped fighting, satisfied his son kept a name that wasn't Zenin.
• Toji represents the ultimate counter-argument to jujutsu society's hierarchy: a man with no cursed energy who could kill any sorcerer alive. His existence is proof that the system's values are flawed.
• He was briefly resurrected during the Shibuya Incident through Ogami's séance technique. Even without consciousness, his body's combat instincts were strong enough to overwhelm multiple sorcerers.
