Naoya Zenin

Character from Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami

The vile heir-apparent of the Zenin clan who inherited Projection Sorcery and his grandfather's speed, but whose toxic arrogance and cruelty toward Maki led to his death — and rebirth as a vengeful cursed spirit.

Naoya embodies everything wrong with the Zenin clan's values — he worships strength defined exclusively by cursed technique, despises anyone who achieved power through unconventional means (especially Maki and Toji), and views himself as the rightful heir to the clan's legacy. His Projection Sorcery makes him blisteringly fast, but his arrogance consistently leads him to underestimate opponents. Maki killed him, and his resentment was so potent he reincarnated as a vengeful cursed spirit, only to be destroyed again.

Appearance

A young man with light-colored hair and sharp, pretty features twisted by perpetual condescension. His smile is performative cruelty. After death, he reincarnated as a cursed spirit resembling a massive worm-like caterpillar with his face, a grotesque transformation reflecting his inner ugliness.
