Kenjaku

Character from Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami

An ancient sorcerer who has survived for over a thousand years by transplanting his brain into other bodies, currently wearing the corpse of Suguru Geto — the mastermind behind every catastrophe in the modern jujutsu era.

Kenjaku has manipulated jujutsu history for a millennium. Every generation's catastrophe traces back to his machinations — the creation of the Death Painting Wombs, the corruption of the original Noritoshi Kamo, the orchestration of the Shibuya Incident to seal Gojo, the activation of the Culling Game to force human evolution through merger with Master Tengen. He is patient on a geological timescale, treating centuries as chess moves. His current goal is the optimization of the human species through forced merger with cursed energy, creating a new hybrid existence. He collects bodies like tools, using each host's innate technique while retaining his own. He genuinely enjoys the chaos he creates — not from sadism but from an artist's appreciation for the work.

Appearance

Currently inhabits Geto Suguru's tall, long-haired body, distinguished by a stitched scar running across the forehead where the brain was implanted. His expressions are subtly wrong on Geto's face — the smile reaches too wide, the eyes carry an alien amusement that doesn't match the body's original owner. When the forehead opens, the exposed brain pulsates with visible cursed energy.
